Orthodox Feast Days in July

On this page, you’ll find a curated guide to July feast days in the Orthodox Church, with simple explanations, family-friendly ideas, book recommendations, and links to helpful Orthodox Christian resources.

My goal is to simplify feast day planning by providing a clear overview of these feast, along with easy, meaningful ways to celebrate at home using materials you likely already have or can gather with little effort.

These ideas are meant to help families connect what they experience in church with life at home—our little Church. The activities are intentional and purposeful, not added tasks for the sake of staying busy. They are designed to be developmentally appropriate for children, encourage participation, and help parents share the faith in a tangible way.

I enjoy learning about the saints and feast days and making an effort to set these days apart from ordinary ones. My hope is that these resources support families in building consistent, meaningful rhythms that help children understand and remember the faith as they grow. I hope this resource is a blessing to your family.

On this blogpost you will find resources for popular feast days celebrated in the Orthodox Church in July along with links to where to find them!

Live the Orthodox Liturgical Year at Home (2026)

Monthly Orthodox Family Calendar Printables New Calendar Dates– Digital Download

Living the Orthodox faith in the modern world takes intention. One of the greatest gifts of the Orthodox Church is the Liturgical Calendar. It’s rich, beautiful, and deeply formative—but it can also feel overwhelming with its many feasts, fasts, saints, and traditions.

These monthly Orthodox family printables are designed to simplify the Liturgical year and help you intentionally bring the life of the Church into your home—one small, meaningful step at a time.

🌿 What’s Included

Digital Download | January–December 2026 (12 Months)

✔ Updated with correct 2026 Pascha calendar dates

✔ All 12 months conveniently bundled into one download

✔ 1-page 12 Month Overview of Important Dates

📅 Each Month Includes:

  • Key Orthodox Calendar Dates - Important feast days, fasts, and liturgical reminders—plus simple notes on common traditions so you can plan ahead without feeling overwhelmed.

  • Saint of the Month - A focused opportunity to learn about one saint each month—keeping saint study manageable and meaningful.

  • Family Corner - Simple, intentional ideas to help you build strong family culture and live the faith together in everyday life.

  • Hands-On Family Activity - Easy, low-prep activities that help children connect liturgical life to their daily experiences—no “crafty parent” skills required! These activities reinforce what children see and hear in church through icons, hymnography, and feast days.

  • Hymn of the Month - Learn one hymn each month by singing it together weekly. Over time, these hymns become written on the heart, so when your family hears them in Church, they already feel familiar and beloved. Liturgical hymns carry the theology of the feasts—and learning them is a great joy.

  • Extra Resources & QR Codes - Optional links to go deeper into living liturgically, at your own pace.
