Live the Orthodox Liturgical Year at Home

Living the Orthodox faith in the modern world takes intention. One of the greatest gifts of the Orthodox Church is the Liturgical Calendar. It’s rich, beautiful, and deeply formative—but it can also feel overwhelming with its many feasts, fasts, saints, and traditions.

Over the years, I’ve learned that living the Orthodox faith at home doesn’t mean doing everything. It means doing a few things intentionally.

That conviction is what led me to create my new Monthly Orthodox Family Calendar Printables for 2026.

Rather than trying to cover every saint and feast, these printables are designed to help families slow down and focus on:

  • One saint each month

  • One hymn learned together

  • One simple family activity to encourage an Orthodox family culture

  • And a few key dates so you know what’s coming in the Church year

St. John Chrysostom reminds us that the home is a “little church.” When we bring small, lived experiences of the Church into our daily rhythms—through prayer, song, stories, and shared activities—our children begin to recognize those same patterns when they step into the Church on Sunday. The Liturgy becomes familiar. The hymns feel known. The saints become friends.

This new digital download includes January–December 2026, with updated lenten and Paschal calendar dates, gentle reminders of common feast day traditions, and optional QR-code resources for families who want to go deeper—without pressure.

My hope is that this resource helps you cultivate a peaceful, intentional Orthodox family culture, one that reflects the life of the Church not just on feast days, but in the everyday moments of home life.

You can find the 2026 Monthly Orthodox Family Calendar Printables in the shop now.

May our homes truly become little churches.
